Real talk on singlehood

  • Commons Hub Brussels Rue de la Madeleine 51 Brussels Belgium (map)

Join us for an evening to challenge the perception of singlehood — together.

🌍 Through stories and dialogue, we’ll explore how women’s single lives are shaped, silenced, or celebrated across cultures

While progress has been made in recognizing women’s autonomy, the battle is far from won — especially when it comes to the right to choose one’s sentimental and civic path freely, without pressure, pity, or punishment.

This event exists to confront that truth, and to honor the complex, personal, and often unspoken stories behind it.

💡 Feel like sharing your story on 26.06?
Bring an object that sums up your take on singlehood — whether it’s a journal 📓, a houseplant 🪴, or your favorite snack 🍫. We’re here for all of it 💖

📸 You’ll also have the chance to get your portrait taken by a professional photographer and become part of an international collective project that amplifies new narratives and reframes the way society views single women.

🎶 Got a song that screams single pride?
Add it to the “ears.on.singles” Spotify playlist and come sing along during our the after talk karaoke 🎤🎵

🫶 Hosted by Barbichette and eyes.on.singles
